Best viewed with the default dA skin! 
This one drove me absolutely batty!
Not only did I choose one of the most annoying things to draw - water - I chose another two ridiculously textured animals, a heron and a rainbow trout, to add to the scene.
Ah well, it's done now - it took longer than my White Peacock piece, which was almost a non-stop piece of work that lasted over one day. This one spanned several days with a break in between to do something a little less taxing.
I know it has far too many colours in it really, I went a little crazy. There was originally a huge wing in the piece but I got frustrated after starting it over for the fifth time so I adjusted the piece so it wasn't necessary.
The fish looks a little shocked, doesn't he? I suppose you'd be surprised too if you had a heron clamped onto your butt...

I'm not actually very fond of birds' beaks, I've been bitten by a peacock and a turkey before (so why I drew a peacock and a heron, I don't know).
